Like other operating systems, such as Microsoft Windows, operating systems develop over time to allow for security fixes, new functionality and newer hardware.
Mac OS X is no different, and, as a result, legacy hardware will no longer work with recent versions of Mac OS X. In other words, you may not see the option to upgrade through Software Update. This is where we can help.
Should you be in this position, it may be possible for us to complete the install for you. This may require upgrading from a hard disk drive (HDD) to a newer and quicker Solid State Drive (SSD) and also an increase in RAM (if necessary and subject to hardware limitations). These are things we can discuss with you prior to any work commencing.
